These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of soranostudio.com and any purchase made through it. They constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('the Customer') and Sorano Studio, a sole proprietorship registered and operating in Malaysia. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a purchase.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of Sorano Studio. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The date of the most recent revision will be noted at the bottom of this page.
Orders & Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Placing an order does not guarantee fulfilment until you receive a written order confirmation from us.

Order Confirmation
A contract between you and Sorano Studio is formed only when we send you an order confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where pricing errors have occurred, and will issue a full refund in such cases.

Pricing & Currency
All prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Payment Methods
We accept credit and debit cards via Stripe, and online banking via FPX and DuitNow. Full payment is required at the time of ordering. We do not offer credit terms or deferred payment unless explicitly agreed in writing. All transactions are secured via SSL encryption.

Failed or Fraudulent Payments
If a payment fails or is found to be fraudulent, your order will be cancelled immediately. We reserve the right to report suspected fraudulent activity to the relevant authorities.
Custom PC Builds
Every build is handcrafted to order. Please read the following carefully before purchasing.

Component Substitution
Specifications listed on our product pages are indicative. Due to the nature of the PC hardware market, individual components (including but not limited to GPU, RAM, PSU, cooler, and case) may be substituted with equivalent or superior alternatives if a specified component is unavailable. Any substitution will be of equal or greater specification and value. This is disclosed clearly on our product pages.

Build & Testing Time
Custom builds typically take 3 to 5 business days to assemble, test, and prepare for dispatch. This includes a 24-hour burn-in stress test. We will notify you when your build is ready to ship. Build times may be longer during peak periods or in the event of component shortages.

Accuracy of Information
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate. However, minor discrepancies may occur. If you have specific requirements, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability and suitability.
Delivery
We currently deliver within Peninsular Malaysia only, beginning with Klang Valley operations. Delivery is handled by reputable courier partners and is included in the purchase price unless otherwise stated. Delivery typically takes 1 to 3 business days after dispatch. Sorano Studio is not liable for delays caused by courier services, public holidays, natural disasters, or other events outside our control. Risk of loss and title for purchased items pass to you upon delivery to the courier.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the bespoke nature of custom-built PCs, our return policy is as follows.

No Change of Mind Returns
All custom PC builds are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges on the basis of change of mind, as each build is assembled specifically to your order.

No Cancellations After Build Commences
Once assembly of your build has commenced, your order cannot be cancelled. If you wish to cancel before assembly begins, please contact us immediately at hello@soranostudio.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Faulty on Arrival
If your build arrives with a defect or fault that was present at the time of delivery, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange collection, assess the issue, and repair or replace the affected components at no cost to you. This does not affect your rights under Malaysian consumer protection law.

Warranty Claims
Hardware defects arising within the 1-year warranty period are covered under our Warranty Policy. Please refer to our Warranty Policy page for full details on how to make a claim.
Warranty
All Sorano Studio builds are covered by a 1-year warranty against hardware defects and component failures under normal use conditions. The warranty is provided directly by Sorano Studio and covers parts and labour. It does not cover physical damage, water damage, misuse, unauthorised modifications, or consumable items. For full details, please refer to our Warranty Policy page. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, any statutory rights you may have under Malaysian law.

All builds are covered for hardware defects under normal use. We handle diagnosis and repair — just contact us and we arrange collection or courier at no cost to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Sorano Studio's liability is limited as follows.

Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount you paid for that order.

Indirect Losses
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of our products or services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, loss of business, or loss of profits.

Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for the actions, services, or policies of third-party providers including payment processors, courier companies, or component manufacturers. Issues with payment processing should be directed to your bank or payment provider.
Intellectual Property
All content on soranostudio.com — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, and page layouts — is the property of Sorano Studio and is protected under Malaysian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without our express written permission. Third-party brand names and product names referenced on this site remain the property of their respective owners.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or any purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. We encourage customers to contact us directly in the first instance to resolve any disputes amicably before pursuing formal legal action. These Terms were last updated in 2025.
